Terms of Service.

These terms cover work carried out by Elite Exterior Cleaning Ltd (trading as Elite Jetwashing Services, and referred to here as "we", "us") for customers ("you"). They apply alongside any written quote we send you.

1. About us

Elite Exterior Cleaning Ltd is an exterior cleaning business based in Bolton, Greater Manchester (BL1), covering the wider North West.

2. Quotes

  • Quotes are free and without obligation.
  • We aim to get back to you as soon as we can after receiving your enquiry. This may take longer if a site visit is needed or we are out on a job.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
  • Quotes are based on the information you provide (photos, dimensions, descriptions). If conditions on the day materially differ from what was described, we will discuss any price change with you before starting work, never after.

3. Accepting a quote and booking

  • When you accept a quote (in writing, text, email, WhatsApp), a contract for the described work is formed.
  • We will confirm a job date in writing.
  • You can cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled date without charge. Same-day cancellations may incur a callout fee covering travel and materials prep.

4. Carrying out the work

  • We will arrive within the agreed window or contact you if held up. We do not start work without your agreement on the day.
  • We use professional equipment and the right cleaning method for your surface. Where a soft wash is required (render, K-Rend, painted or coated finishes, and other delicate surfaces) we use low-pressure chemistry rather than high pressure.
  • We protect plants, paving and surroundings where chemistry is applied. Please move any fragile items out of the work area before we arrive.
  • You stay responsible for telling us about any hidden issues (loose blocks, friable render, fragile plants, septic tanks, drainage problems) before we start.

5. Payment

  • We accept cash and bank transfer. Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • As a small business we are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to the quoted price.
  • Late payment over 14 days may incur interest at 8% above Bank of England base rate (Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998).

6. Walkaround and warranty

  • We walk around the completed work with you before payment. Any concerns raised at this point are addressed before we leave.
  • If you discover a defect within 7 days of completion that is clearly the result of our work, contact us and we will fix it free of charge.
  • Cleaning results inherently depend on weather, season, substrate and pre-existing condition. Some staining may not be fully removable; we are honest about this at quote stage.

7. Limitation of liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
  • We carry appropriate public liability insurance. Our total liability for any single claim is capped at the cost of the job in question, except where statutory rights apply differently.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing defects in your property (loose blocks, failed mortar, fragile render) or damage caused by these defects during normal cleaning.

8. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You can get more information from Citizens Advice.

9. Disputes

We aim to resolve any dispute informally first. If we cannot, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any unresolved disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your job is the one in force when you accepted the quote.
