What we clean
Elite Jetwashing Services cleans every kind of uPVC around your home across Bolton and the North West:
- Window frames, sills and glazing beads
- Front, back and patio doors
- Porches and canopies
- uPVC roofline: fascias, soffits and bargeboards
- The glass itself, cleaned alongside the frames
How we do it
- Assessment. We look at what’s causing the problem, whether that is green algae, black mould in the seals, general grime or dull, oxidised plastic, and choose the right approach for your frames.
- Soft wash. A low-pressure clean with a specialist uPVC-safe solution lifts dirt, algae and grime without forcing water past the seals.
- Detail the tricky bits. Corners, rubber seals, glazing beads and sills get worked by hand where a wash alone won’t reach.
- Glass and rinse. The windows are cleaned along with the frames, then everything is rinsed down so no residue is left on the glass or plastic.
Why it matters
uPVC is meant to be the low-maintenance choice, but shaded and north-facing frames in Bolton’s damp climate go green with algae quickly, and the rubber seals collect black mould. Left alone the growth spreads and works into the seals. A proper uPVC clean smartens up the whole front of the house, and because we lift the algae and mould with a uPVC-safe solution rather than just wiping the surface, it stays clean for longer.
It’s also a surface that’s easy to damage. Putting a pressure washer on uPVC is a common mistake, because too much force can drive water behind the seals or mark the plastic. That’s why we soft wash uPVC rather than pressure wash it, using low pressure and the right cleaning solution.
